Hooked on Chic Organization
Sick of feeling like a hamster on a wheel, I recently took some time off work in a valiant attempt to organize my life, and was so excited to “have at” my seemingly perpetual to-do list. First up, the apartment! Once MY closet was cleaned out, I took a look at Tallulah’s stuff & realized that all her Blueblood leashes + collars needed a chic way to be displayed (and, you know, to show-off how many matchy-matchy sets she has). Plus, as with most things, it’s usually easier to find something when kept in an organized manner. After checking out Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, AND the Container Store without finding anything exciting, I was almost ready to just throw up some standard hooks and call it a day. Quick stop at Anthropologie to buy a birthday gift for a friend & hellllllo inspiration!
As far as the dog hooks go, they have Frenchie, Bernard & Scottie breeds, but also have a ton of other aesthetic options to match almost any décor. I obviously needed more than 1, so decided to mix it up. A ‘T’ alphabet hook for ‘Tallulah’, the ‘Curious Frenchie’, and the ceramic rose ‘Petal’ hook for Tallulah’s middle name, ‘Rose’, seemed like a fitting combo. They were super easy to install in my foyer & have made it so easy to grab whichever set seems most appropriate when it’s time for a walk. Now if only I could organize my shoes that easily!
